Online Banking Upgrade

For the past year, we have been working hard on improvements to better serve you.  In addition to our new logo, we also updated our website to find the information you need. We are proud to announce that we are launching new services and a new Online Banking Suite on Tuesday, December 12!  Read on below for what enhancements are coming.

Online Banking Enhancements

Managing your finances is not always simple. You try to follow some sort of budget. You are trying to save for that big purchase. There are receipts to keep track of. You probably even have accounts at other institutions, making it difficult to get a complete picture of how you are doing. All of this makes managing your finances more difficult than needed. We are here to help. With this upgrade, we will be providing tools for you to follow a budget, set financial goals, add notes or images (like receipts) to transactions to help you remember them, and even pull all your other accounts into one place to get a complete picture.

While new tools are nice, we have also been focused on making certain you have good security. One feature of enhanced security is Two Factor Authentication. It requires a code in addition to your password in order to sign into Online Banking. This code will be sent to you either with an app (which is recommended), a text to your mobile phone, or a call to a phone number you provide. You may use one of various authentication apps available online. There will also be new alerts available to you to better watch over your accounts to warn you about suspicious transactions.

We have also updated how Online Banking looks. You can see to the left a picture of how the site will look on your laptop or computer. This change in looks also allows for us to personalize the site to you that will be consistent on every device.  This is just the start as we have even other upgrades planned to debut during 2024.

Mobile Banking Enhancements

In addition to all of the enhancements mentioned above, mobile banking has additional benefits specific to it. So, not only do you get additional tools to help you manage your finances, additional security to guarantee your finances are safe, the ability to see accounts from other institutions to receive a complete financial picture, an updated look and feel including personalization to you, there are also additional features.

With enabled devices, you may use touch or face ID as part of the security on the mobile app. In addition to that security feature, you are able to have real-time transaction alerts delivered to your mobile device. This is helpful, not only to help prevent fraud, but also because every now and then we expect a transaction to happen at a certain time. It is so much easier to receive a text, instead of constantly checking your account.

The mobile app now has many features, previously only available through the website. Some of them are:

  • Check images
  • E-statements
  • Add payees to bill pay
  • Add external transfers
  • and more in development!

Your entire financial relationship in the palm of your hand! The apps will soon be available.
